This course is for
OSI’s hybrid Ecological Restoration Training is intended to introduce students to fundamental concepts and common practical ecological restoration methods. This course occurs both online and in-person and covers the fundamentals of restoration, basic planting, seeding, and erosion control.
Course Objectives
By the time the course concludes, students will be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals of restoration ecology
- Understand and identify basic concepts and tasks in:
- Seeding and seedbed preparation
- Planting and transplanting
- Erosion control
