Elise Martinez

Programs Manager

Elise Martinez is the Community Programs Manager for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC). She is responsible for strategizing and planning VOC’s community programs including Healthy Community Projects, the Grossman Scholarship fund, and youth and family programming. Outside of managing these programs, she also delivers Team Stewardship Days and public projects, and serves as a VOC representative on several community and youth-focused coalitions working to increase diverse public engagement within Colorado’s outdoor spaces.  Her energetic nature and keen eye for detail makes her an effective communicator with audiences from all ages and backgrounds.

Prior to joining VOC in February 2022, Elise has worked with a variety of local organizations including the Rocky Mountain Conservancy Field Institute, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, the Urban Land Institute, and most recently at the High Line Canal Conservancy where she led volunteer, recreational, and community engagement programs. She holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Environmental Studies and Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
