Katie Goodleaf is the Weld County and San Luis Valley Partnerships Manager for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC). The position manages VOC’s efforts to continue building public land stewardship capacity through partnership and volunteers, providing partnership management and coordination for public lands within the San Luis Valley. Katie’s enthusiasm for the VOC community and her passion in getting volunteers excited about experiencing nature and being good stewards of our resources will help continue to grow and foster VOC’s successful program in the SLV.
After graduating from Quinnipiac University in 2011 with a degree in Political Science, her love of the outdoors drew her to Colorado where she began her work in environmental stewardship. Prior to joining VOC in March 2021, Katie has worked in natural resources since 2012 with organizations such as AmeriCorps, Colorado Parks & Wildlife and even as a seasonal VOC Project Manager in 2017.
