Matt is the Director of Finance and Operation for Outdoor Colorado (VOC). He is responsible for finance, business operations, budgeting, human resources, office administration, and IT. Matt has spent years managing staff and is excited to focus more on systems and processes that support the entire organization and mission. He finds joy in creating procedure, improving efficiency, and helping others. Matt was drawn to the position through VOC’s mission. He enjoys the outdoors and believes in creating stewards to protect and preserve Colorado’s beautiful landscapes and natural resources.
Before joining VOC, Matt spent over 10 years as a recreation manager in both the public and private sectors where he managed facility and program operations, budgets, and human resources. Most recently, Matt was a Business Manager for a large senior living community. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
